Remember to Dance!

And David danced before the Lord with all his might, wearing a priestly garment.

2 Samuel 6:14 NLT

I sometimes forget to dance.
To sing loud and lift my face to the sun’s warmth,
Remembering that You are good!

Your word says:

For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

What Father wants to see His children live as defeated?
Especially when we are not!

In Christ, we are victorious:

He gives us victory through Christ!

He gives us strength to do everything!

He is with us and fights for us!

He has overcome the world, even death!

So yes! I will dance! I’ll shout and sing!

I declare this day is the Lord’s! I will rejoice and be glad!

I’ll remember that the Lord is my strength and my song! I’ll say,

The Lord is good!

The Lord is good!

The Lord is good!

And I’ll dance like King David before the Lord.

David’s Song of Praise:

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!
His faithful love endures forever.
Cry out, “Save us, O God of our salvation!
Gather and rescue us from among the nations,
so we can thank your holy name
and rejoice and praise you.

1 Chronicles 16:34-35 NLT
