what people say

I can't begin to say enough good things about this book. It is by far one of my favorite books that deals with a family that is dealing with autism. I laughed and I cried and I could identify with the parents. I love the Biblical promises and reminders that God is always there for us when we are feeling overwhelmed while dealing with our children that have been affected by autism. I recommend this book to anyone that has a child or that knows a child that has autism.

Absolutely loved this book! Such a blessing and such an encouragement to parents of children with autism. I was able to completely identify with the author and the trials and struggles we face as parents. This book was also very encouraging not only for the difficulties we face having a child with special needs but for other problems we generally have in life - finances, relationships, etc. Excellent perspective. Wonderful application of Scripture.

I really enjoyed this book! I am amazed at one who is willing to share such a heart wrenching story, but I am so impressed that she continued to give God all glory & praise. I really appreciated that she was able to share the feelings within the struggles their family went through such as the struggles dealing with others who are uneducated and behave inappropriately. Thank you for speaking up for those who are unable to.

God's Promises for Autistic Children &
Their Families

Does God care about Autism?

From the time my son's diagnosis, and we were given a handshake and a brochure for help, to the time we watched our son sing every word in his school musical. Through many  experiences--the good and the bad--we discovered a beautiful blessing: God does care about autism.

Better yet, he has a unique and marvelous purpose for children with autism--a purpose no less than that of any other child.

More than an "I've been there too" story, Autism's Hidden Blessings highlights God's blueprint for living a life full of joy and potential for your child.

Readers will discover.

  • The inheritance of promises God has for you and your exceptional child
  • Why autism will never limit God from revealing himself to your child
  • What to do when you are angry at God and how to move past it
  • Why love is the greatest therapy of all
  • Scriptural encouragement to help your family soar above the autism battle.

Autism doesn't define your child and doesn't limit his or her potential. If you're weary from everyday battles, join me on a journey to discover and apply the plan God has for your entire family.

It's time to reclaim your joy, laughter, and most of all, hope.

What they are saying

“ I searched for over a year looking for a resource that would help me and encourage me as I parent my adopted daughters. Both have fetal alcohol syndrome. This book was an answer to my prayers. It was real and genuine but mostly faith filled spilling over with hope!!! I think it is an absolute must for every single parent who parents a special needs child. "

" My son was diagnosed 3 years ago, and I immediately sought out books that were encouraging, yet informational and practical. This book has it all. This was by far the most encouraging and uplifting book that I read after my son's diagnosis. I've read it twice now and will probably read it once a year or so for a long time. Kelly has incredible insight into how to word things so that we are encouraged and built up, even in the face of such an awful epidemic.
